JNTUH, located in Kukatpally, is an institution of academic excellence with an 'A' Grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). With a legacy of five decades, it has been a beacon of quality education, nurturing young minds and instilling confidence to face the challenges of the world.
Under the theme "Space for Sustainability: Bridging the Gap with Space Technology," the 4th ICEM 2024 aligns with the spirit of India's First National Space Day in 2024. This conference is a collective acknowledgment of India's strides in space exploration, from launching satellites to unraveling the mysteries of the universe. Organized by the Centre for Environment, University College of Engineering, Science and Technology at JNTUH, the ICEM series has been a pivotal platform for international collaboration. The upcoming conference, scheduled for October 04th - 07th, 2024, aims to continue this tradition by fostering a regional network on its focal theme.
Having successfully organized conferences in 2005, 2010, and 2017, with participants from over 20 countries presenting 400+ scientific research abstracts, the ICEM series has proven to be an interdisciplinary forum promoting innovative approaches in environmental science and technology. I encourage practitioners, engineers, researchers, scientists, students, academia, industry professionals, managers, policymakers, as well as national and international NGOs, to join us at ICEM 2024. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore avenues for sustainable development and create a plan of action.
As you participate in the conference, take advantage of the vibrant city of Hyderabad, its rich culture, and delectable cuisine. I am optimistic that ICEM-2024 will shed light on critical gaps in environmental management, contributing to a greener and sustainable future for generations to come.
